It was a particularly cold and blustery winter day in the Brewer’s Plymouth Marina when Fred Bisaillon and Denise Corson came to the docks. And after wading through knee deep snow they fell in love. They fell in love with the beautiful views of the harbor, with the proximity to Historic landmarks, and with the people. “There is such a great sense of community here. The boaters and townspeople have been so welcoming” says Fred. Denise has commented “You just feel like you are part of something bigger. Watching the sun set over the Mayflower really gives you a connection to the History of this place.” So the decision was made and Surfside Smokehouse was born.

Fred and Denise own a barbeque restaurant on Nantucket called B-ACK Yard BBQ. They focus on combining the tradition slow and low cooking techniques with the highest quality ingredients. They are bringing all that great ‘Que to Plymouth and adding fresh local seafood.
